In USA, Ashwin Navin of Samba TV Joins I-COM Data Science Hackathon 2018 Board

I-COM is pleased to announce that Ashwin Navin [pictured], Co-Founder and CEO of Samba TV in the USA, is joining the I-COM Data Science Hackathon 2018 Board.

Samba TV is a data and analytics service that measures television and video viewership across screens. The company has been compared to more traditional TV measurement firms like Nielsen which rely on the people meter to gather viewership data.

Prior to Samba TV, Ashwin was the President and Co-Founder of BitTorrent, Inc. He and the inventor of BitTorrent Inc. started the company in 2004 after a stint at Yahoo! within its Corporate Development group which handled strategy and acquisitions. Before Yahoo!, Navin worked at Goldman Sachs as a Research Analyst. He is a 1999 graduate of Claremont McKenna College with a dual B.A. in Government and Economics.
