Arina Ureche - GM, BRAT, Romania

Arina is the General Manager of ABC Romania, the media measurement organization in Romania, which represents over 220 print & interactive companies. Arina Ureche joined ABC in 2001 and became General Manager in 2006. Arina was asked by ABC to launch a new research on the Romanian advertising market, a Internet Measurement System, named SATI. The survey delivers traffic and audience results, on standards and methodologies decided by the industry. ABC Romania is the industry-owned, not-for-profit organisation, which provides independently verified traffic and audience results for more than 350 websites.

She is actively involved in key initiatives that will help deliver professionalism for electronic media as an effective communications channel and promote the importance of accountability. The most recent initiative was to launch an Advertising Monitoring Service for the Romanian market in 2011. She has a 13 years career in media, advertising and research and 5 year experience in teaching mathematics for Polytechnic University of Bucharest.
