Ewa Szymanska - Head of Consumer Behaviour Lab, Rakuten Asia, Singapore

Ewa Szymanska is the Head of Consumer Behaviour Lab at Rakuten (the leading Japanese e-Commerce and Internet company) responsible for leveraging consumer data and understanding of consumer behaviours to inform global marketing strategy, empower merchants, and develop solutions for targeted online advertising.

Prior to joining Rakuten’s Global Marketing Office in Singapore, Ewa was a Behavioural Data Scientist at SingTel – Singapore Telecommunications – applying a psychographic approach to analysing location data for targeted mobile advertising.

Ewa received her PhD in Experimental Psychology from the University of Pennsylvania.
