Irfan Kamal is the Executive Vice President, Strategy, Ogilvy & Mather West and OgilvyAmp. Irfan currently leads marketing strategy innovation and data-driven execution work for Ogilvy’s West Coast organization. He has worked with clients such as Oakley, BlackRock/iShares, NBC Universal, Ford and Nestle.
Irfan has partnered with 3D protein folding serious game Fold.it, introduced business results-focused effectiveness frameworks, and led the creation of new social / digital products such as the gamified CRM platform Insider Circle™. He is also the lead author on 2 major studies, How to Build a Global Passion Brand and Does Social Media Impact Sales.
Prior to joining Ogilvy, Irfan worked as an Entrepreneur in Residence for Amazon.com’s Jeff Bezos and co-led two startups developing offerings in the corporate wellness and crowdsourcing spaces. He has an MBA from Stanford University and a BS from Princeton University, with a focus on Computer Science.
