Kajal (often known as Dr. K) is a Managing Partner and the Director of Analytics, Live Audience at GroupM Analytics. His current responsibilities include Audience Product developments using big data intelligence and machine learning algorithms.
He is also the Cofounder and Principal of mdrk Consulting, a New York-based data and design consulting boutique.
Previously, Kajal was the Vice President of Performance and Measurement at Xaxis where he developed, delivered and spearheaded Xaxis analytics products and practices, Xaxis media performance and measurement solutions including audience insights and optimization, cross-channel attribution, brand impact and research studies.
Before joining Xaxis, Kajal was an analytics director at a marketing consulting company specializing in Market Mix Models (MMM) for large financial companies. During this time Kajal had developed a framework for analyzing and optimizing advertising and marketing return on investment.
Kajal held a Ph.D. in Economics from Indiana University and had been a professor of Economics at the University of Notre Dame for nine years.
