Ken Beatty is the Chief Analytics Officer of FCB Garfinkel & FCB Health, defining the role of data and analytics across these agencies. He also leads FCB’s Global Analytics council for the network. Ken works closely with FCB’s creative and strategic planning teams to translate powerful analytics into means of solving marketing challenges, ensuring effective, data-driven programs for clients.
He is a former U.S. Army Lieutenant Colonel and West Point mathematics professor, and was the head of Marketing Research and Analytics for the Army’s Recruiting Command. In his civilian career, he initiated the marketing analytics capability for Humana and Prudential Healthcare, and was vice president of strategic targeting for FleetBoston (now Bank of America) Credit Cards. His agency career started with Rapp Collins, eventually becoming the chief analytics officer there, and he was the chief analytics officer at Doner, as well as the executive director of data and analytics at G2.
Ken holds MS degrees in Operations Research & Statistics, and Applied Mathematics from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, and a BS Mathematics degree, from The United States Military Academy at West Point.
Ken and his wife, Sandie, are empty nesters, living in New Jersey with their three dogs and six cats.
