Lauren Weinberg is an experienced and goal-oriented marketing and research professional with over 15 years of experience in digital media. She is an expert in directing research methodology, finding insights in data and using them to drive strategic plans.
She is currently leading Marketing and Sales Strategy and Operations globally at Square, which includes insights, marketing and customer analytics, marketing strategy, sales strategy, business planning and new market analysis. Prior, she was the founder of LMW Consulting, a strategic advisory firm. Before consulting, Lauren served as Yahoo’s Vice President of Marketing Strategy and Insights, where she oversaw media planning and buying, brand and marketing effectiveness research, consumer analytics and industry research. Prior to Yahoo, Lauren was Vice President of Digital Insights and Research at Viacom. She spent the three previous years at Advertising.com as Director of Research and worked at Nielsen and comScore as a Media Analyst and Product Manager, respectively.
Lauren currently lives in the San Francisco Bay Area with her husband and two sons. She is also on the advisory board of FlockU, a college blogging network and serves as an advisor to Plex Media, Inc.
