Sean Seah - Head of Digital Experience, HSBC, Hong Kong

Sean is the Ventures Director at Asia Pacific Digital in Hong Kong. He is a senior leader with experience in world-class corporations and entrepreneurial start-ups including Toyota, Travelocity, Groupon, Air New Zealand, Langham Hotels, Asia Pacific Digital and Bonds In Asia.

Sean leads the Ventures Team for Asia Pacific Digital to buy and build internet businesses across APAC by leveraging the strength of 300 digital warriors focused on game changing ideas and innovative new business models. An entrepreneur, Sean develops and grows the digital business of each venture from initial start up planning through to execution of high velocity growth models. At Cellarmaster Wines the first start up venture, Sean leads the eCommerce, digital and marketing teams to build the number one online wine business in Greater China.

At Groupon, he lead the 100+ team across APAC to build a mobile social commerce travel company that is known as the world's fastest growing company. At Langham, he was responsible for leading the hotels global E-business, Loyalty and Partner marketing initiatives which include building Langham's online revenues and digital brand equity and inspiring loyalty among Langham's customers. At Travelocity, he established ZUJI as the Asia Pacific's award winning online travel agent. Sean has also consulted to 15 of the top investment banks in the world, working to build an electronic bond trading platform across Asia. At Air New Zealand, he led the team to build a global website serving 26 countries and launched the airline's first ever online booking service. Sean also led the e-commerce marketing team at Toyota where he was responsible for bringing the global motor vehicle giant online and in touch with customers, suppliers and partners.
