The newsfeed editor’s role is to organise and share press releases and articles on our website and social media channels that he/she receives from marketing department.

Tasks

  • Prepare the social media copy

Skills required

About this position:
The Account Manager’s role will be to manage existing membership accounts as well as to support the Vice Chairs in their efforts to sign new member accounts.

You will be the main point of contact for day-to-day inquiries and responsible for ensuring that our members extract the maximum value from their membership. In addition to this, the account manager will also support the Vice Chair in their efforts to attract, engage and sell to new potential clients.

The role will include researching potential members, writing proposals and writing follow-up emails on behalf of our Vice Chairs. You will work closely with number of key stakeholders including the sales leadership team, marketing team, and project managers. Your role will also be key in ensuring we manage the volume and frequency of communication with each of our contacts from sales and marketing.

A successful candidate should be detail and process oriented, excellent team player and have strong writing and communication skills.

Tasks:

  • Ensure our existing members extract the maximum value from their current membership privileges while communicating additional offerings that they may benefit

  • Manage the membership renewal process with the wider teams

  • Research prospective member companies

  • Compile pre-call preparation on potential member accounts for Vice Chairs

  • Manage CRM input and output

  • Write proposals and emails for Vice Chairs

YouTube Specialist

About this position:
We are looking for a YouTube specialist with 1-2 years' experience in creating content. The role is to work for a global company who are looking to attract new customers to their online platform.

Please do not apply if you are a filmmaker - this is a marketing role.

Audience/ Community

  • Run the day-to-day operation of our YouTube channel - proactively use YouTube optimisation and curation tools to create compelling brand experiences.

  • Write copy relating to the videos programmed for the channels to either appear on the site or for use in promotion elsewhere. Devise and deploy optimal written metadata including titles and tags.

  • Oversee the overall look and design of the channels and any other relevant visual metadata such as thumbnails.

  • Respond to comments and messages posted on the sites, where appropriate and in line with Standards guidelines.

Planning / Implementation

  • Create and implement a schedule of when clips should be set live, in accordance with the editorial vision for the channels, an understanding of what video works on YouTube, required rights/holdback requirements, workflow issues, as well as other contractual obligations, and cross platform promotional and marketing campaigns.

  • Ensure that before clips are published that they have appropriate rights clearances and other business metadata (e.g. Product IDs) are up to date and stored in the relevant databases.

Ability / Expertise

Essential:

  • Have the ability to generate ideas and concepts independently as well as working within a team.

  • Have knowledge of working within a commercial environment and an understanding of delivering projects that are commercially viable.

  • Be fluent in English and have proven writing skills with regards to both factual content (e.g. web copy & descriptions) as well as writing in a tone of voice for social media updates.

  • Be computer literate and have at least a basic knowledge of working with spreadsheets and other core office software.

  • Have an understanding of the broader digital landscape (outside of YouTube) and a proven interest in keeping up to date with developments in web platforms and applications.

Qualifications

Essential:

  • Have previously worked with online video, social media or ideally the YouTube platform itself. This could have been at a multi-channel network, a broadcaster, a production company or as a standalone YouTube creator.

  • Have a proven understanding of the current global digital landscape outside of YouTube, including relevant online locations for popular video sharing sites and popular social networks.

  • Previous experience of working with archive content would be useful.

  • Basic understanding of the production process of television / video would be useful.
