I-COM Global Summit 2017 Award Winners announced

The I-COM Award Winners were announced with great fanfare last Tuesday, April 25, at the Gala Awards Dinner, the highlight of the I-COM Global Summit 2017’s 4-day programme. The 8th edition of the world's leading Marketing Data & Measurement Strategy event, held in Porto, Portugal, from April 24 – 27, has gathered the brightest of the smart data to discuss and network under the theme of 'Data 2017: The Year of Change'. 

From location-based data to Generation Z, the Summit’s attendees were engaged in highly productive sessions and debates about the state of art and future trends of marketing data industry while experiencing local culture, gastronomy and fashion.

The Smart Data Awards are an indication of a company's overall ability in Marketing Data, aggregating the top scores achieved in the I-COM Data Creativity Awards and the I-COM Data Science Hackathons to reveal the winner.

The 3rd edition of the I-COM Data Science Hackathons had two simultaneous challenges aimed at solving real-life problems and achieving results in a 36-hour marathon, which would normally take months of work to accomplish or replicate. Intel and Unilever sponsored the 2017’s challenges.
