Nguyen Leaves Comscore Amid Job Cuts, Possible Sale

May 10, 2019 - Posted at MrWeb News: Comscore SVP of Asia Pacific Joe Nguyen [pictured] has left the company after nearly a decade, as news breaks of an imminent 10% cut in workforce and a possible sale of the business.

Yesterday it was announced that Comscore has commenced a strategic review which aims for an initial $20m in cost savings, following a 3.4% fall in first quarter revenue to $102.3m; and an adjusted EBITDA loss of $2.5m, compared with a gain of $3.6m in the prior year period. The company confirmed in a conference call that it is planning to make around 180 staff redundant, through a combination of layoffs and the elimination of empty positions. In addition, interim CEO Dale Fuller said that the Board is considering selling off certain parts of the business or a sale of the whole company, adding that 'all things are on the table'. More...
