Abim is the Senior Manager, Digital Media - Research and Insights at Middle East Broadcasting Corp in UAE. Abim heads MBC Group’s Research & Insights unit, with responsibility for market, media, and revenue-support research - as well as consumer data strategy development. Prior to MBC Group, Onasanya was European Media Director at Donovan Data Systems, responsible for the strategic development of global agency cross-media research, planning & transactions systems. Recognising the challenges faced by media owners, advertisers and media agencies in a digital age, Onasanya worked closely with clients’ category management divisions; technology partners; digital media transaction platforms; research and data providers; as well as media owners.
Before DDS, Onasanya was Head of Client & Analytic Services at AGB Nielsen, UK, with responsibility for data quality and daily delivery of TV audience ratings in UK, jointly developing solutions with BARB for the measurement and reporting of new televisual technology.
