Saeed Bagheri, PhD - Marketing Analytics and Insight, Amazon, USA

Saeed Bagheri (PhD) is currently the Head of Global Data and Analytics Product and R&D at GroupM. Saeed looks after all data and analytics related products globally from inception (requirement gathering) all the way to deployment, training and maintenance. Some of the key products are Data Marketplace, Analytics Workbench, Attribution, MMM and Live Audience. In his R&D remit, Saeed acts both as R&D technical content manager as well as R&D people manager for all GroupM R&D hubs globally.

Prior to his current role, he was at Philips Research leading the Global Healthcare Services Innovation Topic as well as North America Services Cluster till Aug. 2013 when he joined GroupM.

Saeed started his professional career at IBM Thomas J. Watson Research Center in Yorktown Heights, NY. He received his B.S. from Sharif University of Technology in 2004. Later that year he attended Massachusetts Institute of Technology for his graduate studies, where he graduated with two M.S. and a Ph.D. in 2007 majoring in Optics and Optimization. He has more than 50 refereed published articles and conference papers in academic world as well as 50+ granted or pending patent applications globally. Saeed lives in Westchester County, NY with his wife and daughter.
