Andreea Popescu is the Director, Statistics and Predictive Analytics at Turner Broadcasting System, leading the Statistics and Predictive Analytics team within the Analytics, Data and Decision Sciences.
With more than 15 years of expertise in the Analytics, Data and Decision Sciences fields, she has applied her skills to work on various Scheduling, Revenue Management, Pricing, and Consumer Choice Modeling.
She is a member of INFORMS and I-COM, and serves as an Advisory Board Member for the MS Analytics at Georgia Institute of Technology.
Andreea attained her PhD from the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta.
Subhasish Misra is Data Scientist at Walmart Labs, Bangalore. He’s currently leading a group of talented statisticians working on harnessing diverse data sources to create scalable statistical/machine learning based solutions for customer analytics (and previously for assortment optimization).
With 10+ years of advanced analytics experience, Subhasish has previously worked at Hewlett Packard Co, WPP & Aon and consulted for many Fortune 500 clients across multiple geographies.
He has a marketing analytics patent on using Bayesian hierarchical models for customer re-purchase propensity forecasting and has written thought papers and delivered conference talks on data science related topics. His major interest areas are market response models, time series forecasting & CRM analytics.
Subhasish holds a M.A in Economics from Delhi School of Economics, where econometrics was one of his focus areas.
Kajal Mukhopadhyay, often known as Dr. K, is the Co-Founder & Principal of mdrk Consulting, an independent boutique data and design consulting firm based in New York City. mdrk Consulting helps clients with data intelligence, data science, analytic solutions and data-driven products and designs. As a Co-founder, Kajal brings 15+ years of experience in media and digital analytics.
Most recently he was part of the Mindshare team from GroupM, where he had been a Managing Partner and Director of Live Audience, responsible for Audience Product Developments using big-data intelligence and machine learning algorithms.
Kajal was also Vice President of Performance and Measurement at Xaxis, where he developed, delivered and spearheaded Xaxis analytics products and practices, Xaxis media performance and measurement solutions including audience insights and optimization, cross-channel attribution, brand impact and research studies.
Before Xaxis, Dr. K was an Analytics Director at a marketing consulting company specializing in marketing mix for large financial, retail and media companies. During this time, Kajal had developed a framework for analyzing and optimizing advertising and marketing return on investments.
Kajal holds a PhD in Econometrics from Indiana University and had been a professor of Economics at the University of Notre Dame for nine years. He is member of several I-COM Boards and Juries.
Dr. K has published in the media and has been a speaker at ARF, DMA, IAB.
T. Scott Clendaniel is AI/Machine Learning Instructor for Harvard University.
Previously, he was the Vice President of Analytics for Morgan Stanley, where he focused on fraud detection and prevention for the firm’s $50 trillion per year wire transfer business.
Scott began his career as a financial services marketing executive, raised on Citicorp’s pioneering data-driven practices. In 2001, he transitioned to Data Science, specializing in predicting consumer behavior such as transaction fraud (Dell Computer, PayPal, Sears), donations (St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital) and customer response (Mercedes, Los Angeles Times, AOL).
Krassimir Kostov is a Manager at Cognizant Analytics, Cognizant Technology Solutions. Leveraging the company’s global capability, he helps leading multi-national and Japanese clients solve important business challenges by deriving value from data. As a Senior Data Scientist, his duties involve management consulting of C-level clients, as well as hands-on design, execution, and implementation of strategic Advanced Analytics solutions. Some examples include: customer acquisition, growth and retention, multi-channel marketing optimization, operations and efficiency optimization. His clients include companies from the Banking and Financial Services, Life Sciences, Manufacturing, Retail, Logistics, and Communications industries in Japan, APAC and even Europe.
Before joining Cognizant, Krassimir worked at the Analytics & Optimization Division of Netyear Group Corporation (NGC), a Japanese Digital Marketing agency. He was responsible for growing the Customer Analytics team’s Advanced Analytics and Strategic Solutions for clients in the luxury and fashion goods, insurance, automobile re-sale, and pharmaceutical industries. Employing NGC's unique data-driven approach to Digital Marketing, he and his team created value for leading Japanese and global clients, by optimizing their ROI across channels and customer lifecycle. He also contributed to the NGC’s blog, writing on Advanced Analytics topics.
Prior to Netyear, Krassimir was an Assistant Manager at the Analytics team at the Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation (HSBC), USA and India. His responsibilities included end-to-end development of Predictive Analytics models and strategies, which empowered internal clients to make more informed data-driven decisions. Major clients were Marketing Campaign Management, Assets and Liability Management, Online Savings, Branch Network Management, Product and Pricing, and Call Center Operations.
Krassimir is a Data Scientist with multi-geographical experience, and an extensive know-how in management consulting, acquisition, CRM and multi-channel analytics. He holds a PhD from the University at Buffalo, and an MA from the University of Delhi.
Koichiro Kondo is a Data Scientist from Global Data Team of Dentsu Aegis Network (DAN).
He joined DAN in 2010 and has been responsible for several data products in DAN and digital transformation consulting for Japanese top clients. His experience is spread out across copywriting, creative work, programmatic advertising, machine learning and cloud computing.
He started working at the London office in 2016 as Global Chief Data Scientist. He has been in charge of developing an innovative data product with his various expertise.
Brian d'Alessandro is Head of Data Science of SparkBeyond.
Most recently, he was the Head of Data Science at Zocdoc, a NYC-based startup that enables digital discovery and instant booking for healthcare appointments. Brian is an experienced data science leader and innovator in the marketing community, having published several dozen peer reviewed white papers and earning multiple patents, both at Facebook and Dstillery.
Brian is also an adjunct Professor for the NYU Data Science program and is an active member of the ACM SigKDD conference organizing committee.
He is a long-time volunteer for Datakind and regularly advises or leads data mining projects for various non-profit organizations. Brian is also the drummer for the critically acclaimed indie rock band COASTGAARD.
Andy Fisher is the Chief Analytics Officer of Merkle.
Most recently, he was the Global Head of M1 Advanced TV of Merkle.
Prior to joining Merkle, Andy was the EVP, Global Data & Analytics Director at Starcom MediaVest Group where he led the SMG global analytics practice. Prior to that role, Andy was Vice President and National Lead, Analytics at Razorfish, where he led the digital analytics practice and managed a team of modeling, media data, survey and business intelligence experts.
He and his team were responsible for some of the first innovations in multi-touchpoint attribution and joining online/offline data for many of the Fortune 100. Andy has also help leadership positions at Personify and IRI. Andy is an avid traveler having visited more than 100 countries. He also follows the chess world and is the former US high school chess champion.
Andy holds a BA in mathematics from UC Berkeley and an MA in statistics from Stanford.
Amy Shi-Nash is an executive leader with a proven track record of creating value and competitive advantage through data-driven culture and innovation. She has the rare combination of scientific depth, industry know-how, leadership skills and commercial acumen.
Currently she is General Manager, Group Data Science of CBA(Commonwealth Bank of Australia).
Prior to CBA, Amy was the founding member and Chief Data Science Officer of DataSpark, Singtel’s data analytics spin-off. Responsible for driving data-led innovation and creating new revenue steams by combining telco data with advanced analytics and big data technology.
Amy is a Science Board Member of I-COM and since 2013 is Industry Track Program Committee Member of ACM KDD. She is a frequent public speaker, a co-inventor and co-author of multiple Patents and Publications. Amy holds a Ph.D in data mining, a Master in AI and an MBA.
Huascar Peralta is the SVP, Director of Decision Sciences at Universal McCann Detroit. He is responsible for providing measurement, learning and analysis for all digital media programs as well as working with traditional teams to develop cross-channel solutions for Chrysler, Nationwide and other Detroit based accounts. His efforts are focused on providing data and solutions that support media and client initiatives along with developing and enhancing partnerships with technology companies to meet client demands.
Prior to his current position, Mr. Peralta was the Ad Operations Director at Zenith Optimedia working on such clients as HP, Chase, T-Mobile and Puma. He began his career at Beyond Interactive in Ann Arbor, MI where his primary focus was growing and managing operations for the Oracle brand globally. His domestic autos experience began with a two year stint at JWT/Team Detroit working on Ford before joining Zenith Optimedia.
Mr. Peralta attended Lawrence Tech University School of Architecture and currently lives in Ann Arbor, MI with his wife Monique, and his two daughters, Solana and Iliana.
